How to Use the Transpose Feature to Move Notes and Adjust the Visible Area

The Transpose function allows you to effortlessly shift notes up or down while automatically adjusting the visible fretboard area to match the new positions.

1. Select Your Fretboard

Ensure that you have the fretboard you want to modify selected.

The Transpose feature is available only when a fretboard is selected.

2. Access the Transpose Feature

You have two ways to access the Transpose feature:

Via the Menu: Go to the top menu bar, select Edit, and then choose Transpose from the dropdown menu.

Via the Right-Click Popup Menu: Right-click directly on the fretboard, and select Transpose from the context menu that appears.

3. Adjust the Transpose Settings

Once you select the Transpose option, a dialog box will appear allowing you to input the number of steps you want to move the notes up or down. This will automatically adjust the visible area of the fretboard to accommodate the new note positions.
