The Pro and Publisher versions of Neck Diagrams provide support for copying fretboards etc into other applications and outputting pages into other common formats such as image files (PNG, JPG) or Adobe PDF documents 📎
Copying a fretboard to another application
It's really easy to use your fretboards in other applications, e.g. Word, Pages, etc. All you need to do is select a fretboard in the page editor and use the standard Copy function - i.e. press CTRL+C on Windows or ⌘+C on Macs. Then just go to your other application and you'll find you can simply Paste in an image of your fretboard using CTRL+V on Windows or ⌘+V on Macs.

Exporting Diagram Pages
There are two places you can use the Export Wizard from:
- the page editor in the Edit view, or
- from the Diagram Gallery view
Exporting from the Edit view
To export the diagram you currently have open in the edit view you simply select the menu File > Export diagram...
Note that the editor must not have any unsaved changes - if you do you will be prompted to save first.

Exporting from the Diagram Gallery
You can export more than one page at a time from the Diagram Gallery (or create a multi-page PDF).
First select the pages you want to export, then either use the File > Export diagram... menu as above, or the Export button on the toolbar:
The Export button on the Diagram Gallery toolbar.
Whichever way you choose to export, the keyboard shortcut is always the same: ALT+SHIFT+E on Windows or ⌥+⇧+E on Macs.
The Export Diagrams Wizard
Once you select the export option, the actual exporting is done via the Export Wizard:
The Export Diagrams Wizard lets you choose how you want to export your pages.
When the Finish button is pressed the pages are exported to files using the pages names (or using the page name you supply for multiple-page PDF exports), to the directory of your choosing. If you select the "Create: Directory structure" option also, the directory structure of the project and any subfolders of the selected pages will also be created at the chosen export location, with the exported pages in each subfolder accordingly.
The Export Diagrams Wizard allows you to add a watermark to resulting files.
When the Next button is pressed you can optionally add a watermark to resulting files*. The watermark can be a text or an image. You can also select location, rotation and opacity of the watermark.
* Only available in Publisher version.

The "Single document" option is only available when there is more than one page selected for export and when PDF is chosen as the export format. You will also be able to specify the name of the output file, and you can also adjust the order that the pages will appear in the multi-page page PDF created:
