This tutorial will guide you through the process of labeling notes using a custom function, allowing you to apply Roman numerals or any text to your selected notes.
Step 1: Select Your Notes
- Open your project.
- Identify the note or notes you want to customize.
- Click on the note(s) to select them.
Step 2: Access the Custom Label Option
- In the Inspector under the Style section, look for the Custom option.
- Click on the Custom option to enable custom labeling for the selected notes.
Step 3: Set Custom Labels
- While holding down the Control key on your keyboard, right-click on the selected note.
- A dropdown menu will appear.
- From this menu, select Set Custom Label.
Step 4: Enter Your Custom Label
- A dialog box will prompt you to enter your desired label.
- Type in your preferred label, which could be a Roman numeral (e.g., I, II, III) or any text you wish.
- Press OK to apply the label.
If the font is too small or too large, you can adjust this from Style. 📏
